The Owner
Magda has been working with animals since high school, when she began volunteering at a local dog kennel and training facility. After a few years, she was appointed to a full time position, and even management roles at a young age. Throughout college, she began to pet sit here and there
However, after working at an emergency veterinary hospital, she realized that was a lack of veterinary experience, pet care service, that would be able to recognize symptoms and medical issues of your pets, administer medication, and be trusted to know when medical intervention is needed.
This is how Critter Sitter started, circa 2010.
.

Critter Sitter has existed since, but Magda continued to peruse a career in veterinary technician and served the community on both an emergency and clinical level.

Come 2020 and as many of us, there came a reevaluation of life and it was decided to launch Critter Sitter LLC as a full-time commitment.

Magda lives in Hamden with her partner Danny, and their 3 cats: Cindy Loo, Zoboomafoo, and Podge.
She enjoys nature, plants and animals of all kinds.
And will take a roadtrip anytime she can.

Danny
The Manager

Like many people, Danny didn’t grow up with animals, and was only introduced to the love of the human-animal bond in his adult life.
Although Danny is new to animal care, he has already skyrocketed to Ultimate Cat Dad status after helping a stray mamma cat raise her 7 kittens. He fed her while she fed them, and daily monitored body weight and calorie intake of all.. An engineer in his daily life, his attention to detail and big heart is why he is the operations manager for Critter Sitter.

He held on to one of the kittens he raised, and the two are inseparable.
